Boitumelo Lethoko moved from Cape Town to Pimville at the age of 9 to live with her grandmother. It was during this time she discovered her talent and enjoyment of art. After completing high school Lethoko studied a year of graphic design at Eduvous before coming to Artist Proof Studio in 2020. The processes and lessons learned doing graphic design inform her work at Artist Proof Studio.
Throughout her studies at APS Lethoko has been involved in a number of community and related exhibitions and projects including; Thumbela Fine Arts Workshop (2020), Climate Change and the Hope For Clean Recovery Post Coronavirus Pandemic (2020), and Exhibition, organized by Sam Nhlengethwa. City of Ekuhuruleni (2021). In 2022 Lethoko graduated in Artist Proof Studio’s printmaking course and is currently doing her 4th year in the institution.
