Linda Fourie
Artist Statement
I am drawn to surfaces that hold memory – bark, leaves and broken textures. I reassemble and layer images and materials to resemble bark fragments through collage, drawing and painting. My aim is to explore decay, growth and renewal in the environment and human psyche where fragility and endurance exist side by side.
