The Shadow Self is an intriguing aspect of our psyche that we often repress or disregard.
It symbolizes our deepest fears, desires, and insecurities, and manifests as the darker
side of our personality. As an artist, I draw inspiration from exploring the Shadow Self.
My creative process involves working with Paper clay and wire. I construct my pieces
piece by piece, breaking them down before rebuilding them anew. This approach mirrors my personal growth journey, as I seek to understand the complex emotions and energies that inhabit my body. The wire serves to visually represent these energies in motion, offering insight into the invisible yet palpable nature of emotions.
Through my art, I strive to bring the Shadow Self to the forefront and explore its intricacies. My pieces challenge viewers to confront their own Shadow Selves and examine their fears and desires. Ultimately, my work reflects the human experience, with the Shadow Self serving as an integral part of that experience. I hope to encourage greater self-awareness and understanding of the hidden aspects of our being through my exploration of this intriguing territory.
