"Undefined": A Reflection of Unformed Identity

In "Undefined," I explore the disorienting effects of social media on our self-perception. This oil painting depicts underdeveloped flowers, shrouded in a hazy, unclear atmosphere, symbolizing the unformed and unfinished nature of our identities.

We are constantly bombarded with curated images and societal expectations, dictating how we should present ourselves to the world. This relentless influx of external influences can hinder our ability to develop a genuine sense of self, leaving us uncertain and undefined.

The unfinished flowers in this piece represent the stifled growth of our authentic selves, as we struggle to reconcile our true identities with the idealized versions presented to us. By leaving the image intentionally unclear and unfinished, I invite viewers to contemplate the importance of self-definition and the pursuit of our true, unbridled potential.
