The Mutation

Artist Statement:

Genetic modification is a powerful tool that can be used to alter the genetic makeup of organisms, leading to both positive and negative consequences. While it can be used to introduce desirable traits or eliminate undesirable ones, it also raises concerns about the potential for unintended mutations and the ethical implications of manipulating the natural order. My artwork explores this complex issue, depicting the mutations caused by genetic modification in flowers and human anatomy.
