Artist Statement

I am an artist who creates art because I enjoy the creative process. I am inspired by nature, given to us by the Divine to uphold and care for. Male portraits, therefore, features strongly in my work, to represent the Divine Caretaker and the fathers of this world. Experimenting with black and  white strengthens the narrative. I also work in Acrylics, watercolour and mixed media. I enjoy starting the painting process with an abstract under painting and then build on that with different tools and techniques.
