Foundations of Becoming is a collection of artworks that explore how we grow, change, and carry our past into the present. The works move between memories of childhood, struggles of adulthood, and our deep connection with nature.
In Plastic Foundations, childhood play is turned into something heavier. Toy blocks once light and joyful, now show how adult life can feel full of weight, trying to balance responsibility
The drawing opens a window into the mind. They reflect on regret and the need to let go, rather than hiding these feelings; the works show them as part of the journey of learning, forgiveness, and starting again. They invite us to think about how our inner struggles shape who we are.
With the painting I explore what nature can feel like longing, strength and the bond between human life and the cycles of nature. It reminds us that our stories are part of something larger than experience.
