My submission for the exhibition titled : SeaScapes, stems from the turbulent waves of thoughts flowing inside of my own mind. From how I want people to experience my art and how much of those waves are my own thoughts and which aren’t. Every art piece is a reflection of my thoughts at the time and they each have different meanings in relation to the same feelings and experiences. I made these are works to speak to the inner version of myself whom is moved by the world outside and how the world is starting to lose inspiration. I tend to look deeply into things and allow myself to go into my subjects shoes and for this collection the parts of myself that I was looking at felt like they were far away and within range at the same time and I had to muster the strength from inside in order to bring them to the shore. The process of these artworks were made digitally by modelling and simulating some assets in the scene followed by my own digital compositing to get the final look and colour grading to get the film look.
