Artist Statement

This series explores memory, identity, and transformation through surreal dreamscapes. Each piece presents a young figure in solitude, immersed in vast, fluid environments where sky and water merge.

A designer couch drifts in open space, a towering stack of striped fabric creates an unstable perch, and a tree branch becomes a place of quiet contemplation. Origami butterflies flowers that have taken flight symbolize transformation, fleeting beauty, and the delicate balance of nature. The final work, with its urban backdrop, contrasts isolation with cultural influence.

These works also speak to environmental fragility. Just as flowers and butterflies rely on delicate ecosystems, we too are connected to nature in ways we often overlook. By blending personal symbolism with universal themes, this series reflects on change, nostalgia, and our responsibility to protect the beauty that surrounds us.
