Mother and Child - My Heart

Any woman who has had a child will tell you that child is inextricably tied into her heart and her body for

life. A life that is so fragile, much like the paper I used to make this piece. This piece marks a new direction

in my paper sculpting technique, using the paper as “paint” and formulating my own paper clay. I reworked

this piece completely in August 2021 since first completing it in 2020.
