This drawing of two siblings goes beyond a simple selfie; it shows the strength of family bonds and the innocence that survives despite life’s challenges. The portrait shows how moments of joy can exist even in spaces shaped by struggle in the township. Through this work I’m reminded of the resilience of relationships that keep us grounded and remind us where we come from.
