My submission, "FluidScapes," is an investigation into the universal principles of rhythm, movement, and wave patterns found across varying environmental scales. This collection expands the "scapes" theme by contrasting two distinct visual experiences: the tranquil open world and the contained internal flow.

The collection is divided into a study of duality. The ScaleScapes (square format, cool white light) explore the slow, expansive rhythms of nature, capturing the essence of CloudScapes and FieldScapes through works like "Moonflowers" and "Clouds."

In contrast, the FlowScapes (rectangular format, warm yellow light) zoom in on pure pattern and kinetic energy. These works, such as "Fancy curl wave," act as MotionScapes, capturing the intense, repeating geometry that underpins all natural phenomena.

All five pieces are united by the meticulous combination of hand-cutting and embroidery, techniques that assert both the widest landscape and the tightest ripple are constructed from countless, painstaking details. "FluidScapes" invites the viewer to experience the world not as static scenes, but as continuous, interconnected rhythms, unifying our perception of the intimate and the infinite.
