I challenge myself to always bring out emotion and I enjoy listening to the different views and emotions the viewers experience when viewing my creations. To me, the fundamental object of art is to engage the viewer and through the sense of sight, heighten the other senses, to expose a different perspective, to challenge the viewer to accept a truth otherwise hidden. My preferred medium to work in will always be oils, but I also enjoy etching, which entails a very challenging process, and I find very interesting.
