A mother's strength

A mother’s strength is a concrete and steel sculpture that reflects on my experience of the

mother figures in my life. The gentle flower holding up the concrete home structure resembles

the flower drawings of my early childhood, which I learned how to draw from my mother and

grandmother. The sculpture celebrates the selflessness of the mother figures in my life.
