Artist Statement
I am an artist and mother of three daughters, including a set of twins. Though we live on three different continents, I remain connected to them through my art. I use their garments—clothes they once wore—as central elements in my work, weaving stories of their lives into each piece.
Through these works, I explore the complexities of joy, love, loss, and loneliness. My process involves layering real garments with acrylics and impasto techniques, creating textured surfaces that symbolize layered realities: different worlds, time zones, and identities. Despite these distances and differences, an emotional thread remains—binding us together.
