Another choice is Jenny Hearn with “Wetlands”, a very beautiful work, and people who know me and my taste may be surprised by this choice. So why am I so in love with this work. Because I love skill, and this work showcases skill in abundance. Perhaps there is also a touch of nostalgia affecting my choice here too, who can look at quilting and be transported back to a childhood memory. And when the quilting is done with such incredible craftsmanship and a slightly more modern approach, well what’s not to love.
