Tunneling: We are NOT lost

Theme: Looking inward and finding oneself

Curatorial Statement

The exhibition is about moving through difficult and uncertain spaces without giving up. The tunnel represents moments in life where things feel dark, confusing, or challenging but also where change and growth can happen.

The exhibition looks at themes like survival, identity, memory, and finding ways forward during hard times. Even when people feel disconnected, pressured, or unsure of where they are going, the title reminds us that we are still moving, still searching, and still connected to one another.

The artworks explore hidden stories, personal journeys, and different ways people deal with struggle. Tunneling becomes a symbol of hope, resistance, and determination. The idea that even without clear answers, people continue to create paths for themselves and others.

“We Are NOT Lost” is a statement of strength. It challenges the idea that uncertainty means failure. Instead, the exhibition suggests that there is value in the journey itself, in finding oneself, reinventing oneself and in continuing forward even when the destination is unknown.
