In the tradition of musician-based art exhibitions like Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Nick Cave – curated by Gordon Froud, The Viewing Room gallery presents “Killer Queen”. This exhibition takes inspiration from the music, lyrics and lives of the supergroup Queen. Fronted by Freddie Mercury (the man with the voice of a horny angel) and featuring Brian May, Roger Deacon and Roger Taylor, Queen were the voice of the 70’s Glam Rock, The anthems of the 80’s, The balladeers of the 90s. They performed till the untimely death of Mercury from HIV and continue to tour the world with new frontman Paul Rodgers. Queen are still one of the most written about, stylish acts in the world. Artists are responding the this magical band in this exhibition. We will Rock you!
