Sarah-Jean Viljoen was born in Pretoria and
started her interest for art at the early age of 10. Her art career still in
the learning phases as she is pursuing her masters degree in fine and studio
arts at the Tshwane University of Technology. She has been an art student at
the Tshwane University of Technology since 2017. She participated in one group
exhibition in 2021 at Terra Contemporary and participated in the Sasol New
Signatures competition in 2022. Her art mediums are paintings and digital
media. She engages in serious concepts involving mental health, feminine
identity, and gender-based violence.
