Lethabo Huma

Lethabo Huma (b. 1998) is a South African multimedia artist whose work explores identity, personal growth, and the human experience through digital and traditional media. Blending past and future influences, her art serves as a visual diary, capturing emotional reflections and the evolving nature of selfhood in the digital age. 

Currently in her final year pursuing a degree in Visual Multimedia, Huma’s work bridges classical artistry with contemporary technology. Beyond her artistic practice, she is an ethical AI researcher, advocating for youth perspectives in the responsible use of AI to preserve cultural heritage. 

Huma has gained international recognition, featuring in TIME Magazine’s Build a Better Future project and exhibiting at Christie’s Proof of Sovereignty and Sotheby’s Natively Digital: A Curated NFT Sale. Her work is celebrated for its warmth, vulnerability, and exploration of human connection in the digital era.
