Kwandiwa Dlwati lives and practises his fine arts in Johannesburg.South Africa .where he trained one year programme at artist proof studio and Art and Design in Bloemfontein at Motheo Tvet College. He specialises in drawing,painting,collage as a form of art practice.
2022 Kwandiwa’s work was selected as a finalist in the Newbreed competition and he won the marit award same year he was also selected as a William Kentridge Student fund recipient organised by Artis Proof Studio
2023 He was selected as one of the artist to participate in the open studio Joburg event.
In 2024 Kwandiwa won a bronze prize awarded in the Umsizi Nopende programme held at Springs Art Gallery and was part of the RMB talent Unlock 2024 exhibition held at Art And About Gallery .
Kwandiwa’s paintings are praised for their powerful storytelling,vibrant colours and intricate details his work are been brought by collectors around the country.
